Watertight Warranty

Subject to the conditions listed below, RSSP, Inc. the manufacturer and supplier of RSSP roof panels, trims and accessories installed but the installer named above, warrants the weather tightness of the roof for the owner and project named above for a period of 10, 20 or 30 years. The signatures of the installer and an officer of RSSP must be in the spaces provided below along with a copy of the signed manufacturer's material warranty attached for this weather tightness warranty to be valid.

1. All claims must be made in writing to RSSP within 30 days after the occurrence. A copy of the notification must also be sent to the installer.

2. The total of all repairs over the term of warranty cannot exceed two times the original cost of the weather tightness warranty.

3. This warranty applies only to the original owner and project.

4. All repair methods must be approved by RSSP in writing. If repairs are made without the knowledge or written approval of RSSP this warranty will become null and void for the balance of the warranty term with no further obligation to RSSP.

5. The owner of the project is responsible for protecting the roof from pedestrian traffic, debris or any materials that may become lodged causing water or ice damming. Leaks resulting from the aforementioned must be reported to RSSP but will be the full responsibility of the owner. If repairs or additions are made to the roof without the knowledge of RSSP the warranty will become null and void for the balance of the warranty term with no further obligation to RSSP.

6. The warranty is limited to the repair labor of the roof against leaks only and does not include materials, liability for property or personal damage, or injury resulting from leak.

7. Weather tightness for the first to years of the warranty will be the responsibility of the installer of your roof. Repair of leaks are not to be initiated by the owner or installer before fulfillment of conditions 1 and 4 above.

8. The building owner must make annual roof inspections within 30 days after the anniversary date of the warranty document and send in a written report of the findings to RSSP along with photographs of the existing roof condition. If the annual report is not received by RSSP within 45 days after the anniversary date the warranty will become null and void for the balance of the warranty term with no further obligation to RSSP.

9. A copy of this document must be signed and dated by the owner and returned to RSSP within 30 days after installation is complete.

The Installer named above verifies that the RSSP panels, trims and accessories provided to the owner and project named above have been installed according to RSSP installation instructions.
